Our philosophy here at Hot Shots is to provide a fun and positive learning environment with an emphasis on skating, passing, shooting, and other individual and team skills. All drills and activities will be modified to the skill level of each participant. We are proud to introduce a new philosophy of coaching that combines professional teaching and instruction with fun and motivating activities and drills.

Our staff consists of professional payers from the AHL and UHL, as well as certified teachers with many years of experience in coaching as well as teaching. We look forward to sharing our knowledge and experience with each of our participants.

Our staff for this season will be:

Corey Lucas (Director) -BS in Physical Education and Nutrition, completed four year hockey scholarship at Canisius College - NCAA Division I. Completed 4 years of pro hockey. Played for the Adirondack Frostbite - affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning of the NHL. Currently teaching at High Castle Public School.

Adam Lucas - BA in Physical Education and Nutrition, completed four years at Concordia College in Minnesota , has ten years teaching experience, and is currently teaching at Kennedy Public School .

Dustin Wood - Second year as a coach at camp. Started his pro career as an all-star in the ECHL, signed with the Minnesota Wild of the NHL, and currently plays for the Ingolstadt ERC, in the DEL in Germany.

Don't forget that our North York hockey school is conveniently located ten minutes north of Toronto. All sessions will be held at Herbert Carnegie Arena
