Corey began playing hockey in the Greater Toronto area, and at the age of 18, he was selected to play for the Wexford Raiders in the Metro Toronto Junior Hockey League. After two years of junior hockey, Corey obtained a Division 1 scholarship to Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, where he also received a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Nutrition. After graduation from college, Corey was spoken to by several NHL clubs including the Philadelphia, Carolina, and Atlanta. For the 2004-2005 season, Corey played for the Adirondack Frostbite in the United Hockey League (UHL); the Adirondack Frostbite was an affiliate team of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL. Corey has completed three years of professional hockey. In his fourth year he was selected first in the expansion draft for the Port Huron Flags in the United Hockey League. Corey has had over ten years of experience in working with hockey camps. Corey has worked at Hockey Fundamentals Camp as the head instructor and camp director, prior to Hot Shots Hockey School.
Adam began his hockey experience as a player for Sir John A. MacDonald High school in Scarborough, Ontario. After high school, Adam received a four year Hockey scholarship to Concordia College in Minnesota, where he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Nutrition. Adam has had over nine years of teaching experience, and is currently teaching math, physical education, and art for grades 7 & 8 at Kennedy Public School in Toronto, Ontario. Adam has had several years experience coaching at hockey schools. This will be his fifth year at Hot Shots Hockey School.
Jeff Street Jeff has made an extreme impact on Hot Shots Hockey School. He heads the off-ice program focusing on training the mind and muscle. Campers work on basic movement skills and drills to improve their coordination, core power, and speed. His vast knowledge is valued at this hockey school. Jeff began is hockey career in Toronto, and after playing Jr. hockey, he received a scholarship to Canisius College. This past year, Jeff complete his first year of professional hockey in Australia.
Todd Houston Todd began his hockey career playing junior hockey in Ottawa. After junior, Todd received a four year hockey scholarship to Canisius College in Buffalo N.Y. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Nutrition. Todd has had over six years of teaching experience, and is currently teaching grades 7 and 8 Special Education in Ottawa. Todd has had several years experience coaching at hockey schools. This will be his third year at Hot Shots Hockey School.
Rob also began his hockey career playing junior hockey in Ottawa. Rob received a four year hockey scholarship to Canisius College in Buffalo N.Y. where he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Nutrition. Rob has had over six years of teaching experience, and is currently teaching in the Buffalo school District. Rob has had several years experience coaching at various hockey schools. We welcome Rob to the Hotshots Hockey Family !!
